Mayor Tyndall also thanked Ms. Jensen for organizing the Town staff Shorebirds game, as the Mayor
and Council had a fun time with everyone who attended.
Ms. Saleh thanked the Mayor and Council for the approval of a second accountant for the Finance
Department, as Ms. Linda Johnston had her first day today. She was also excited for the new
Customer Service Representative who had been hired and who would be starting with the Town on

Monday, August 11 .
Ms. Gorfinkel discussed potential future auction ideas, such as auctioning off a premier parking spot
for the Christmas parade.
12. Comments from the Press
Giovanni Guido announced he would be leaving his role with ROC Edition to enroll in college. He
would be starting at Delaware Technical Community College, then transferring to Salisbury
University. He was excited to determine what he’s interested in and will be taking a broad range of
classes to do so. The Mayor and Council congratulated him and wished him good luck in his future
endeavors.
13. Adjournment:
On the motion of Vice President Burrell, second by Councilmember Nichols, the Mayor and Council
meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:11 PM.
