o Provide enough trashcans so that the exterior areas can be kept clean.
o Provide an outdoor walking/running track.
o It would be nice to have an exterior performance area – amphitheater.

o Town Events
o Meetings and gathering spaces (outdoor weddings and banquets)
• Instead of a traditional playground, a splash pad could be an extension of the aquatic space
but could be planned to allow for usage in all seasons. It could be a playground in the cooler
months.
• Make sure there are water fountains or bottle filling spaces spaced throughout the exterior
spaces.
• Stations for body weight workouts.
• Provide spaces for exterior classrooms.
• Concerns about access to the exterior spaces during afterhours.
• Dog park

GENERAL NOTES
The following are comments and concerns that were voiced in both sessions but were not directly
related to any specific area.
• Access to the Community Center should be open and free to all residents during regular
operating hours. Ensure that all members of the community have equal access to the
Community Center.
• All spaces need to be monitored during operational hours.
• Staffing and volunteers will be very important.
• The material selections need to be long-lasting, not trendy.
• There was a lot of interest in the hours of operation.
• Keep rental fees for private events regulated.
• Include a location for recycling collection on site.
