• Some of the participants at the May 6 meeting were not energetic about the aquatic spaces.
They see the need for the pool, but they did not have any particular interest.
• Concerns were raised about access to the pool.
• A question was asked about the policies for individuals outside of the Berlin limits to have
access to the pool.
• Ensure that the pool is designed so that it can fulfill many needs.
o Swim team
o Swim lessons
o Water exercise classes
• Senior/youth section with zero entry option
• Diving well
• Provide private changing rooms for family use.
• Rooms should include everything in one room – lavatory, toilet, shower, etc. It should not just
be a large changing room.
• The changing spaces should also provide gender neutral options.
